CP a.k.a CPwaa a Tanzania Music Artist who is famous for setting trends in the Bongoflava industry has once gain been nominated for Africa's biggest Music Awards.."The Channel O Music Video Awards 2012".
CPwaa this year has been nominated for his finest music video " Hhmm..." which was shot last year, November 2011 in Johannesburg,South Africa. The video has been nominated for the "Most Gifted Dance Video of the year".CPwaa is however not alone in that category, he is amongst other Africa's biggest hit makers like DJ Cleo ( Facebook) and Davido ( Damiduro) .
This is the second consecutive nomination for CPwaa since last year when he was nominated for the first time in "The Most Gifted Video East African Artist" through his last year hit song "Action" ft Ms.Trinity, Dully Sykes and Mangwea. Along with AY, CPwaa will be representing Tanzania in this year's Channel O Music Video Awards.
In other related news.....CPwaa is about to sign a deal with Internationally leading Men fashion designer from Tanzania "Sheria Ngowi" who dressed him on the Channel O Music Video Awards last year and made special designs for CPwaa in his "Hhmm.." video. CPwaa and Sheria Ngowi will work together in steering up the Fashion industry and Music Industry across the Globe.As it started last year..
CPwaa will be officially dressed by Sheria Ngowi designs in all his Videos, Concerts, Red carpet and other special appearances. Along the deal comes a new look for CPwaa which will be revealed early October 2012. Since he released the Club hit " Hhmm..." which has been on top of Tanzanian and other African TV stations' Video charts in 2012.
CPwaa hasn't released any new songs or videos. This October, CPwaa is storming the game with two songs at the same time, we can call it a " Double release".In these songs CPwaa, has featured different Artists from Tanzania and U.S.A (Titles for the song and featured Artists currently can not be disclosed). The double release will tag along with a release of his new Video from one of the songs which has been shot here in Tanzania. After that CPwaa is expected to fly to Dubai to shoot another video which will be released before the end of this year. "I have been quiet for a minute...taking care of other important things in life and of course cooking stuffs for my fans. They have missed me enough and they deserve a new hit, a new video, and a bonus track.
As usual my aim is to take Bongoflava to the International Arena. I started Crunk music in Bongo...they followed. I went to shoot my video in SA...they followed. Now am opening doors in the Middle East..Dubai..keep following!" The next destination?...well...."Sky is the limit!!".....said CPwaa. With all this excitement coming next month, CPwaa is also going to launch his second website.
